Scholarship Grant Applications Now Available

Applications are now available for the 2024 PARTS Scholarship Grant Program. The PARTS Scholarship Foundation awards grants each year to eligible children of PARTS members and their employees. (You must be a current "active" member for at least one year to participate.) Application forms are processed and scored by the Foundation for Enhancing Communities. The program is funded through donations and fundraisers held throughout the year.

Completed applications must be received by May 31, 2024. However, there are required federal financial aid forms which must be submitted to the federal government by June 30. To download your application, log into the Members Only section of the website. Members can also have an application mailed to them by contacting Kay at the PARTS office, 717-458-8266.

Doug Reinert accepts the 2021 ARA Affiliate Chapter of the Year Award for PARTS

National accolades for PARTS! PARTS was named the 2021 ARA Affiliate Chapter of the Year for our outstanding support of our members. PARTS Chair Doug Reinert accepted the award on behalf of the association.

Chuck's Auto Salvage awarded 2021 ARA Certified Automotive Recycler of the Year

PARTS member Chuck's Auto Salvage was also awarded the 2021 ARA Certified Automotive Recycler of the Year. Chuck's Auto Salvage serves PA from two locations: Douglassville and York.

COVID-19

In Pennsylvania, automotive recyclers are currently eligible to remain open during the coronavirus pandemic as an essential business serving the automotive repair industry. However, all businesses should practice social distancing and take other precautionary measures to protect themselves, their employees, and their customers, such as limiting or prohibiting public access to retail facilities and offering curbside pickup and/or contactless delivery of auto parts.
